Tilt Hoist

Tilt hoists are used in lumber planer mills and secondary processing plants to break down lumber bundles. Typically the lumber is stickered coming from an air drying or kiln drying process. The machine will lift a bundle off an infeed transfer and tilt the bundle approx. 45 degrees. A set of forks is moving up gradually and one layer of lumber is directed in a manner that the stickers will fall out between a set of skids separating them.
