DropSaw Trimmers
DropSaw Trimmers are used in applications where
trims in 1 or 2 feet increment are required. The machines
consists of a heavy duty bottom feed table with lugged chains.
Cross over even ending rollers are an option.
The machine consist of:
- Heavy duty feed table
- Optional even ending section
- Heavy duty saw box
- 1 or 2 foot saw spacing
- Optional dust collecting hookup
- Variable feed drive
- Optional intergration with an optimizer
- Plc controls
DropSaw Trimmers:
Saw increments of 1 foot
These machines are used in applications where
a trim in 1 foot increments is required.
It allows slashing pieces out of the middle,
trimming a bad end, or cutting a piece in two where one half
might be a finished board and the second half needs to be
remanufactured.
DropSaw Trimmers:
Saw increments of 2 feet.
These machines are used in applications where
a trim in 2 foot increments is required, or with an optional
saw at the one foot mark. The top saws are mounted on a heavy
duty cross member. A standard saw frame with a motor and belt
drive guarantee a trouble free operation.
Miniature trimmers for cedar and fencing industry
with saw increments of 1 foot. These machines are used in
applications where a possible trim at every 1 foot increment
is required, trimming light material such as 1 x 4 cedar or
pine. Its maximum capacity is 4” thick x 6” wide
boards.
The standard machines are built for 10 foot
lumber and are available for shorter or longer length as well.
Each saw is mounted on a saw arbor with standard unit block
bearings. A 3 hp motor is used for each saw. The saw assemblies
are mounted on a heavy duty cross member.
The saws are controlled by the operator,
and a PLC controller that will automatically pick the next
shortest even 1 foot increment on the board is an option.
