Canadian Style Trimmer

The Canadian or Valley style trimmer is designed for sawmills with medium production and is used mostly in softwood dimension mills.

The operation is different from a drop saw trimmer. The board is first trimmed at one end and is then moved across the trim table on crossover rollers. The second operator then locates the board against a fixed stop for the second end trim.

The standard machine is approximately 20 feet long and 17 feet wide. It consists of a bottom feed table with heavy duty lug chains, two trim saws and the cross over rollers and a set of adjustable lumber stops with push roller.

A pre-even ending roller section is available as an option
