Horizontal Double Arbor Resaw

This resaw is designed to resaw cants and flitches, typically in hardwood or pine operations. It is designed to recover grade boards after a cant is removed from a carriage.

The entire line bar infeed, including the line bar, slat bed, and feed rollers shifts as a unit. This assures that the forces exerted by the press rollers are constant in relation to the line bar, and therefore have no effect on the line bar positioning.

The machine can be equipped with either linear positioning or stacked cylinder setworks. A variety of infeeds are available, with devices to preturn cants and to stand up flitches. For the outfeed we offer an automatic tailing system that under normal circumstances doesn't require a man on the tail end.

Infeeds and outfeeds are custom designed for your application and to fit in your mill. The Circular Line Bar Resaw family has three members;

Series 1

This is a heavy-duty high volume machine for cants up to 16" high, with feed rates up to 250 FPM. The machine is equipped with a two point saw guide system and optional babbitt guide systems.

Series 2

This is a standard duty machine, used in lower volume situations. It handles cants up to 16" high with feed rates up to 200 FPM. The machine is equipped with a two point saw guide system and as with the Series 1, optional babbitt guide systems.

Series 3

This is the smallest circular line bar resaw we manufacture. It handles cants up to 12" high with feed rates up to 200 FPM. The machine is equipped with phenolic two point saw guides.
