TWIN CANTERS

Twin canters are used as primary breakdown machines for processing small logs and high piece counts.

Typically log diameters range from 3" to 24".

Available in 3 sizes,

Logs up to 12"
• Logs up to 18"
• Logs up to 24"

A wide variety of infeed and outfeed systems are available designed for your application.

Often a twin canter is installed in combination with a twin saw either circular or band.

Feed rates on the canter can be as high as 600 FPM, mostly restricted by the machinery following the canter.
