Slabber

The slabber unit is installed prior to a band saw or a circular head rig.

It allows the operator to chip the slab as well as saw a board in one pass reducing the number of lines to be sawn on a carriage. Increasing production, reduced hang ups on the out feed and chipper are the main benefits of this machine.

The machine is mounted on a heavy duty frame sliding on linear bearing rails for accurate positioning.

The solid box construction adds further to the rigidity and accuracy of the slabbing unit.

The machine can be equipped with various head designs as key knife, Iggesund and such.
