Wild Bark

The Wild Bark is a machine for the serious operator who can appreciate it’s rugged design modern technology and superior production capability.
The wild bark debarks logs from 6” up to a 40” in diameter and a log as long as 16 feet nominal.

Features:

The machine is built on a solid, welded steel frame. The frame supports a vertically arranged buggy track. Four heavy duty large diameter v - track rollers allow for a smooth running of the buggy. The debarking head is mounted on the buggy and driven by a 40 hp electric motor via V– belts.

A heavy duty air cylinder does the lifting and lowering of the debarking head. The cylinder controls are electric over air solenoid valves. An integrated proportional pressure control valve allows the operator to change the head down pressure during the debarking process.

The bull wheel assembly is of heavy duty welded construction and is supported on each end by double spherical roller bearings. This eliminates the need for heavy duty cross members and reduces bark hang up in the machine.

Options:

  • Closed loop hydrostatic transmission
  • Open loop hydraulic
  • Electric drive with variable frequency drive
  • Hp upgrade on debarking head, bull wheel drive, and buggy drive
