The babbitt guide milling machine is designed to machine a wide variety of babbitt saw guides for circular thin kerf guide systems. The base is of very heavy welded construction with precision ground surfaces to ensure proper alignment of the cutter heads and the guide bar slide rails.

The guide bar mount moves on linear bearings, and dovetail tool post slides are used for accurate movement of the milling heads. The machine comes with carbide tipped cutting inserts and diamond tipped inserts are available as an option. The feed table has a variable speed feed drive and an automatic return.
